Get my quoteHow much does a website cost?
Pricing guides published in 2026 put freelancer-built small business websites at roughly $500 to $5,000 and agency builds at about $5,000 to $15,000. Online stores typically run from about $3,000 to $25,000 or more, and custom platforms higher still. Running costs add roughly $10 to $200 a month for hosting, a domain and any subscriptions.

What sets the price
Five things decide most of the cost. Knowing them helps you decide what to build now and what can wait.
How many pages and templates
A one-page landing site and a 30-page service business site are different jobs. More unique layouts mean more design and build time.
What the site needs to do
Online booking, payments, customer accounts, quote calculators and memberships each add work.
Connections to other tools
Linking your CRM, booking calendar, accounting software or inventory system takes setup and testing.
Content you have, and content you need
If you have copy and photos ready, it costs less. If we write the words or source images, that's included in the quote.
Support after launch
Hosting, updates, backups and ongoing edits are optional and priced separately as a monthly care plan.
Most projects fall into one of four shapes
Landing page
One offer, one goal: an ad campaign, a launch or a single service.
Typically 1 to 2 weeks
Business website
A full multi-page site with service pages, area pages and lead capture.
Typically 3 to 6 weeks
Online store
Shopify or WooCommerce with catalog, checkout, shipping and tracking.
Typically 4 to 8 weeks
App or custom software
Portals, CRMs, booking systems and apps, scoped and built in phases.
Scoped per phase
Timelines start once the design is approved and depend on how quickly content and feedback come back.
Pricing questions
Why don't you publish a price list?
Because two 'five-page websites' can be very different jobs. A fixed quote based on what you need is fairer than a package you have to squeeze into, and it only takes a couple of minutes to request one.
Is the budget I enter in the quote form binding?
No. It helps us recommend the right approach. If your budget and your wish list don't line up, we'll suggest what to build first and what can wait.
What are the ongoing costs after launch?
Expect a domain renewal (typically $10 to $20 a year for a standard domain), hosting (from about $5 a month for shared hosting to $30 or more for managed hosting), and a monthly subscription if you use Shopify. Care plans for updates, backups and edits are optional.
Do you fix problems after launch?
Yes. If something we built breaks in the first 14 days after launch, we fix it at no charge. After that, changes are covered by a care plan or quoted as a small fixed-price job.
How do payments work?
The payment schedule is set out in your written quote before any work starts, so you know exactly what's due and when.
